New Destiny develops permanent affordable housing for survivors of domestic violence experiencing homelessness, and provides supportive services to help them and their family thrive. New Destiny has built 10 supportive, affordable housing projects that house over 1,000 individuals.

In addition to developing buildings, we also provide on-site trauma-informed services in all of our buildings, and through our HousingLink program we have a team dedicated to finding apartments across the 5 boroughs for families fleeing abuse and helping them find long-term stability in their new homes. New Destiny's Emergency Housing Voucher program has been so effective that NYC Chief Housing Officer Jessica Katz, remarked "The reality is that if New Destiny was a housing authority their EHV program would be the 7th largest in the country."

Board Committees: Fundraising & Development Committee, Executive Committee. Since 2018, New Destiny has increased funding by 244%, doubled the amount of supportive housing offered for domestic violence survivors, successfully advocated for expansion of housing voucher programs and rapidly expanded the number of survivors served, and smoothly transitioned to a new Executive Director following the retirement of the prior ED after 24 years of service.
